15 Weeks

well well, we meet again! i hope everyone is doing as well as madison! she is nearing her four month mark and growing wonderfully. she isnt crawling around by any means but shes still managing to keep me on my toes at all times. im not sure how much she weighs but im guessing in the 12 to 14 pound range. she can also hold her head up for a long time now and smiles more and more every day. i think madison may also be turning into a real jabber jaws because shes making more noise as each day passes. yay! soon we'll be talking all day long :) enjoy the pictures for now, god bless!

9 Days +

again with the baby brain: this picture didnt show up and its one of my favorites!

9 Days

i wont say much since i know youre more interested in pictures but i will say that madison is doing very well. gone are the days of fruit sizes and well into the...bigger food comparison days. and just for good measure, she is the size of a potato chip bag right now and about as heavy as a small bag of rice. but i digress. here are the pictures:

i hope to post more of madison with her eyes open, but for now, thats a rarity. she sleeps more than...well, i dont know. someone or something that sleeps a lot! wasn't my baby brain suppose to go away after i gave birth? it seems i still cant think properly. anyway, thank you all for your prayers and blessings, we appreciate them all!

Week 35

whoa whoa whoa! its gettin close! just five more weeks to go, but by the feel of all the dancing around inside my stomach, it feels like madison is ready to come now! today begins our weekly visits with dr. goldman until she arrives so we'll have a better idea of her birth date as the time gets closer, but for now, she is still expected on may 4. madison is also getting much bigger! she's closing in around twenty inches long and 5 1/2 pounds (so they say anyway) and you can finally tell from the bulge in my belly. and thats not the only thing getting bigger: my once delicate fingers are now the hands of an unrecognizable ogre's with sausage links for fingers! and oh boy are they sore! in fact, typing this blog is a challenge since i'm hitting three keys at a time instead of the usual one :) now i dont want you guys sponsoring me for any marathons or anything, but i have also had a lot of heartburn coupled with an achy back and what feels like a 90 year old pelvis and even older hips. but dont you guys go shedding any tears for me, i'll be just fine...

i dont have any new pictures of madison to post yet, so i will leave you with an updated picture of yours truly. have a great weekend everyone and happy easter!

Week 30

so its been a while since i posted something, big surprise. and, well, because the people have spoken (and most of them are outraged for the delay) i have a special post this week with lots of pictures!

lets start with the best: the latest ultrasound pictures of madison!

madison is weighing in at just over three pounds in these pictures and is developing beatifully! and shes not too bad looking either! hehe. since our last post, our baby has gone through quite an array of fruit size ranging from a mango, to a banana, then on to an eggplant, and now in week 30 an amazing squash! she is about 17 inches long now and it seems i can feel every bit of that. she moves around quite a bit and sometimes i wonder if she is doing gymnastics or planning an early escape. i can tell already she is going to be a hand full and i'm looking forward to every bit of it!

so what next? the nursery! there is still much work to do but the mural is complete and i'm more than happy with it!

i have yet to find a crib set that will match well with what we have so far, but i've got my eyes peeled and of course, always open to suggestions!

ok, so now on to the baby shower. thank you all so much for a beautiful party and everything you've done for us so far! i can't put into words how much appreciation i have for every one of you and feel truly blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! i only hope your giving nature doesnt end here: i am already actively seeking full time baby sitters! hehe. and for those of you who could not make it, here are some pictures to help you feel the joy of that day:

i think that should be enough to hold you over for now...god bless!
